So, Embark Studios just dropped the news about the big Frozen Trail update for ARC Raiders—and it’s basically shaking up how the game works. The main change? They’re ditching the old “Raider Decks” system and going with classic reward passes instead. They’re launching this on October 8.
Progression’s gonna be split into two tiers now: free and premium. Before, you’d just get all the season rewards by doing the missions, but now the exclusive cosmetics and extra bonuses will be behind a paywall.
The devs are calling it an “evolution” of the mechanics, but the community’s kinda skeptical—a lot of players see it as just moving to the standard paid battle pass model. To keep people from losing their progress, they’re adding a Legacy Pass so you can finish up the old decks. They haven’t announced the price for the premium tier yet.
