Battles take place in hack-n-slash mode, which means you dive into a crowd of enemies and start smashing everything left and right, of course, using various combos.
With daily online activity, the game will shower you with all sorts of goodies in the form of weapons, armor, and skills. The amount of experience gained increases as you progress—meaning the further you go, the more experience you'll earn for completing quests and tasks.
The game features a so-called bot mode, which, when activated, allows you to take a break—to sleep, for example—while the game continues the adventure without your control. Still, it's not recommended to leave your character unattended too often or for too long, as they might stumble into such adventures that cleaning up the consequences will cost you more than you could gain.
