Embark Studios has released an update for ARC Raiders, introducing significant changes to game modes and improving the overall stability of the game.

Key Changes:

  • The global map state schedule has been removed. Mode launches are now tied to regional time, reducing the risk of players missing required states. The developers will monitor the situation and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Raider Project "Ghost Targets," Stage 2. Players will hunt "Wasps" with anomalous behavior, adding new tactical challenges and objectives to the gameplay.
  • Anticheat System Improvements. The developers have strengthened the detection mechanisms for fraudulent accounts and financial fraud, and fixed a number of technical issues.

Commercial Performance. According to Nexon, total sales of ARC Raiders have exceeded 16.3 million copies, demonstrating strong audience interest in the game.

Future Plans. A major October update is scheduled for October 8th. It will include:

  • a new frosty map, Frozen Trail;
  • another raider project;
  • a new game mode;
  • additional content.

This approach is indicative of the industry: the studio is not only expanding the content lineup but also addressing accessibility issues (regional timings) and fair play (anti-cheat), which are critical for competitive and cooperative projects.
