According to reliable insider billbil-kun, Blizzard Entertainment plans to release Diablo IV on the Nintendo Switch 2 as early as next month. Possible dates include September 15th and 18th – the release is "definitely" on one of these days, but the exact date has not yet been confirmed.
The Switch 2 version will cost $70/€70. A physical release is also expected, but it will be a box code rather than a cartridge. The availability of the Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred expansion on this platform is still being determined.
An official announcement will likely be made at gamescom 2026 (August 26–30), with the opening ceremony scheduled for August 25th, featuring Jeff Keeley.
Meanwhile, Season 15 of Diablo IV itself will begin on September 15th, with the developers already testing new features.
