As the new season of Fortnite begins, fans are faced with a surprising change. In the location of Wonkeeland, a clear teaser was found dedicated to the legendary Pac-Man - players could hear cult music from the arcade, which almost confirmed an early collaboration. However, shortly afterwards the developers promptly removed this content.

The reasons for this decision remain a mystery. Perhaps Epic Games added the "paschalkey" too early or decided to hold off the announcement for a more impactful performance. Given that the upcoming season is rumored to be dedicated to game industry icons (including Sonic and Persona), the appearance of Pac-Man still looks highly likely.

The removal of a teaser is probably just a technical matter, not an abrogation of cooperation. The season is just a couple of weeks away, so official details from Epic Games won’t be long in coming.
