The partnership between Xbox and Ubisoft has developed in two directions at once.
Firstly, the XBOX PC app will feature an expanded catalog of Ubisoft games - players will have a wide selection of digital titles, including premium versions and projects with additional content. The selection includes Assassin's Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Skull and Bones, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, as well as other projects from the Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, The Crew and Watch Dogs series.
Secondly, owners of digital copies of a number of games on Xbox will be able to get their PC versions for free through Ubisoft Connect. New customers will immediately receive two copies (for Xbox and PC), and users who previously purchased the games will receive free PC versions in stages until August 4.
The list of participating projects includes: Assassin's Creed Mirage, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Riders Republic, Skull and Bones, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs Legion.
Important: If the user already owns the game on PC, a free copy for Xbox will not be provided.
